I promise....I'm getting ready to do a massive post complete with pictures. First, I've got to get the kids in school so I have a free minute!! For now, I just wanted to document Sadie's progress. On Aug 3 we went for a weight check and she had dropped to 6 lb 6 oz. I took her back today and she's up to 8 lb 12 oz! I think she's caught on to the eating thing!
Are you breastfeeding? Just curious if you are how it is with a second...I had trouble with LF at first. I am curious as to how different it will be with Cam!
ReplyDeleteI started out breastfeeding and it was much easier this time around. I could never get Reynolds to breastfeed, but Sadie was eating within 30 minutes of being born. I really think it was easier because A)I was relaxed this time, B)The hospital let her lay skin to skin with me for a couple of hours after she was born. After a bad weight check, I started pumping and realized I was only producing an ounce (that's both breasts combined) at each feeding. After 2 weeks of not producing anymore than that and giving her more formula than breastmilk, I decided that she'd gotten the really important stuff so I quit torturing myself by pumping every 2 hours and getting NO sleep!
