High school

Well, the time has come. We are getting ready to mail in Savannah's high school registration and graduation plan! I've been pretty nervous about high school. We were so lucky to get her into AE Phillips when we moved here. It's a small school with a very small student body. Now, she will be going to a big school with a large student body. As a parent, how in the world do you make sure your kid is headed in the right direction with friends when you don't know 1/4 of the student body?!
God has heard my cries! This week we found out that Savannah made the high school soccer team & drama team!! I think this is a HUGE step in the right direction as she goes to high school. We are so proud of her & I know she will make good decisions and have great memories of these years!

Girl's trip

Thursday, I headed down to Gulf Shores with TEN girls! I am shocked we actually all got it together and were able to go. It was hard to leave Josh and the kids, but I had a great time!

Baby Bean

We got a glimpse of our baby today. "He" (Josh insists we call it a he) is a whopping 17 millimeters long and is due around December 7!

Seeing your baby and hearing their heartbeat is just as special the third time around as the first. I am just amazed by the gift God has given us and the ability he's given me to grow a tiny, perfect human inside of me. We are so blessed.

Daddy's girl

This relationship melts my heart. I've never loved Josh more than when I see him with our little girl.

....and yes, they sleep a lot!

Reyn's first ball game

Reynolds had his first ball game tonight. It was so much fun!! To say it was entertaining is an understatement. Picture 12 three and four year olds dog piling on top of a ball every time it's hit and children running every way but around the bases. That pretty much sums it up!
We were actually very impressed with Reyn though. He paid attention to the game and followed directions very well. He couldn't stop talking about how much fun he had when we were in bed chatting tonight.
I'm so thankful that Josh has worked with him on sports. If it weren't for Josh, I don't know that he ever would've played a sport. Tonight showed me how great it is for him!

Weekend recap in pictures

This is an outfit my mom made for me when I was Sadie's age. Happy to see her wear it!

Fun night at Chuck E Cheese!

With Reyn's birthday money, we bought him a wooden castle. It's been a big hit with all the kids!

I sure do have a good looking family!!

Sadie's wild hair in the sunlight. Love it!

Momma

She said it!!! Sadie is finally saying Momma! Granted, it's usually when she's crying but it's music to my ears. She's also getting a little dramatic. When I tell her "no", she throws her head back and just starts crying "mommamommamomma!" So funny.

Tee ball and auction

Today, Reynolds had his first tee ball practice!

I had to miss it because I was attending his school's silent auction, but Josh said he did pretty good except he wouldn't throw the ball over handed! Oh well, we still have some time before the major leagues.

This was the painting that Reynolds' class made for the auction. Each child painted a flow. Reynolds is the flower in the top left corner. It was such a special painting and I wish I could've brought it home!

This was his class silly pic that was raffled off. He was inside of the bucket with his buddy Bennett!

The auction was a lot of fun! We bought swim lessons, a birthday party at Tech, a Sengence lip kit, and a Montessori pillow made by Ms. Renee. Can't wait to do it again next year!

Party time!!

Saturday, we had Reyn's official party. We had it at party galaxy of course because the only thing he likes more than wipeout is a bouncy house!!

The cake! Pretty proud of this. It was 6 layers in rainbow colors. Aunt Katie did the pretty frosting & sprinkles.

The cupcakes were tie dye!

Kissing babies! This is my friend Amy's baby, Brant.

A fun time was has by all!! Thank you to everyone who came and made his party so great!

After the party, we headed to Little Rock to see my sister Jennifer. Jen lives in Omaha and flew in for a wedding. I couldn't miss an opportunity to see her, even if it was a short visit!

Love this!
